This scene from 1967s Doctor Doolittle might be the weirdest thing ever filmed

If you're in need of a pick-me-up this afternoon, then taking a glance at this minute-long scene from Doctor Doolittle, a film from the Sixties, might be just the ticket.

In the bizarre clip, Dr Doolittle is seen sharing a somewhat strange and intimate moment with a seal named Sophie who is dressed up like a human woman.

The two appear to be saying farewell to each other as the Doc releases Sophie back into the wild. If that doesn't sound weird enough he then gives the seal a full-on kiss on the lips and then flings her off of a cliff.

Taking to Twitter, user Neely O'Horror shared the clip, alongside the tweet:

doctor doolittle is *the worst*, yet it contains cinema's greatest minute.

It goes without saying that many other Twitter users agreed with the statement.

They just don't make them like that anymore, do they?
