Jose Mourinho is a man who isn't known for being a barrel of laughs but a moment from Tottenham Hotspur's 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday has provided people with much hilarity.
Early into the game, Mourinho became irate as City's Raheem Sterling avoided a red card for a badly timed tackle on Dele Alli, which VAR deemed to have not been a dismissible offence.
Later in the first half, Sterling managed to avoid another booking for what appeared to be a simulated dive, after he fell to the ground following a clash with Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Upon learning from his assistant Joao Sacramento that Sterling had already received a yellow card, Mourinho rushed to tell the fourth official in an almost cartoonish fashion, changing from one extreme emotion to the other in a blink of an eye.
Mourinho wasn't successful in his protest but he did succeed in creating a brilliant meme.
Even footballer Alain Saint-Maximin has used the meme in reference to a very NSFW fan celebration after he scored the winner in Newcastle United's FA Cup triumph over Oxford United.
Goodness me.
Still, Mourinho has added another meme to his already impressive repertoire.
