Russian Olympian perfectly shut down people who were giving her attention because of her looks

A 25-year-old Olympic medallist has been getting lots of attention online because of the way she looks – and she wants people to praise her sports performance, not her face.

Anastasia Bryzgalova is a world champion curler. She won bronze at this year's Winter Olympics and has a number of accolades under her belt, including winning the 2016 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with her husband and curling partner partner Alexander Krushelnitzky.

However, a lot of coverage about her has been largely about the way she looks, with publications noting she “looks like a model”.
