This man tried to long jump across a railway track. Bad idea

This man tried his best Jonathan Edwards impression on the New York subway and quickly learned that long-jumping is best left to the athletics track.

Showing good form in the air as he leapt across the rails, things were looking so great for our shirtless underground jumper... until he reached the opposite platform.

Mind the gap

The man fell just short, crashing squarely onto the corner of the platform before gathering himself and sheepishly climbing back up.
