These are the most adulterous places in the UK

There are lots of things that could make people stray from their partner: Boredom, stress, growing apart emotionally, or simply the thrill of doing something a bit wrong.

But does where you live affect how likely you are to cheat?

Illicit Encounters – a site that bills itself as ‘The UK’s leading married-dating site’ – have used their data ‘from over one million postcodes to show how many people are having affairs in each area.’

The stats found that Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent is the most adulterous town in the country, with 1146 affairs involving 2.2 per cent of the local population.

Gloucester is the most unfaithful city, and Islington tops the list of London boroughs.

But what about the most faithful places in the UK?

Barry in South Wales is bottom of the list of towns, with just 88 affairs, and Glasgow is the most faithful city.
