A woman has gone viral on TikTok after revealing she told the woman her boyfriend cheated on her with that he had died.
In a video posted by TikTok user @thealoveridge, Thea revealed how, after she had given birth to her son, she’d discovered her boyfriend had been cheating on her the whole time.
She claims his ex “caused drama” throughout the relationship and it was her who he’d been cheating with.
The beginning of the clip reads, “Tell me you’re petty without telling me you’re petty”, and Thea delves into the story of how she tricked her ex-boyfriend’s ex into believing he had died.
Thea explained that shortly after she found out about his cheating, her ex-boyfriend ended up “going to jail”.

She said during this time, his ex was trying to contact him and didn’t know why he was suddenly no longer speaking to her.
Thea then went on to explain: “I messaged her and told her that he was dead.”
She also said her sister helped her perform a fake funeral service in which they took pictures to make it look realistic.
The ex-girlfriend believed her and Thea said: “It’s been three years and she still thinks he’s dead.”
Thea explained that the ex-girlfriend posts about him on social media, saying: “She posts little tributes every year on her Facebook page to the love of her life and how she’s so sorry that she couldn’t be there when he died to save him.”
The TikTok has been viewed more than 5.3million times and liked by more than 1.1million times, however, the reaction to the questionable “prank” has been mixed.
While some praised her for getting a bizarre kind of revenge, others questioned exactly how the ex hadn’t realised after three years.
One person wrote: “Not one person that knows both him and her told her that he was in fact not dead??”
Another said: “IMAGINE SHE MARRIED ANOTHER MAN AND FINDS OUT HE'S ALIVE AND NOW SHE'S CONFLICTED AND HER RELATIONSHIP IS OVER.”
