Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch was just asked the 'horse duck' question - it didn't go well

Reddit has finally destroyed the Fourth Wall.

Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch had a confirmation hearing on Tuesday.

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake had an important question for Gorsuch, courtesy of his son, who had seen it on a reddit thread:

Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

Stop laughing. This is important.

A number of notable figures had previously weighed in with their answers:

Former President Barack Obama chose to fight the horse-sized duck.

Former presidential candidate Gary Johnson – horse-sized duck.

Author Nicholas Kristof – horse-sized duck.

Journalist Natalie Morales – 100 duck-sized horses.

Things to consider, before embarking on an answer:

  • Can the 100 duck-sized horses swim?
  • Is the horse-sized duck a pacifist?
  • What is the strength of the 100 duck sized horses?
  • Is it easier to fight one big fight or 100 little ones?

It seems, Gorsuch was overwhelmed with the possibilities.

I’m very rarely at a loss for words but you got me!

Flake asked a second question, this time courtesy of his brother:

Have you ever worn gym shorts and a tank top under your robe?

Gorsuch:

The Fifth Amendment protects the right not to self-incriminate.

Perhaps somebody needs to inform Donald Trump of this amendment...
