No, we're not talking about the above image, in which Bill Clinton seems to be whispering in Donald Trump Jr's ear.

We're discussing a recent editorial profile on Donald Trump Jr, by the style section of the New York Times.

It painted him as the most "chill" Trump, presumably in an attempt to persuade people that Trump children aren't the lizard/Patrick Bateman hybrid unholy offspring they are so often painted as.

They'd also presumably like the public to forget his horrible Skittles/Syrian refugee analogy.

Anyway, people noticed that Trump Jr was sitting awkwardly, and among other responses...

... They revelled in the attempt to look normal.

One tweet in particular went viral:

It appears to have ruffled Trump Jr's feathers somewhat:

A couple of bad pictures isn't the worst the media has on Donald Trump Jr.

His analogy, which equated Syrian refugees to taking a handful from a bowl of skittles, of which "just three would kill you", is probably the worst thing.

Skittles had the most fitting response:

Skittles are candy. Refugees are people. We don't feel it's an appropriate analogy.

We will respectfully refrain from further commentary as anything we say could be misinterpreted as marketing.

That's more Presidential than anything his father has, or ever will have, said. Sit on that.

More: Skittles' response to Donald Trump Jr was more presidential than his dad will ever be
