These two girls who refuse to believe they're not twins have won the internet

Jia Sarnicola and Zuri Copeland are best friends, and most probably, will be so forever. Jia's mother Ashley has been documenting their camaraderie on Instagram, and it is the sweetest thing.

The girls first gained internet notoriety when this tweet from Victoria, who goes by @vickto_willy, went viral.

She told Yahoo Lifestyle,

So my sister Zuri and her best friend Jia were at the birthday party, and they had been telling anyone that would listen that they are twins.

They think that they are twins because they celebrate their birthdays together.

Jia's mother Ashley explained to BuzzFeed News that the pair met aged 3, and have been inseparable ever since.

Their birthdays are in fact two days apart, but they are such good friends that they have chosen to celebrate their birthday together on the day that comes in between.

Whatever you do, don't question their friendship. When that was brought up, Jia had the best response, helpfully laid out by Ashley in a Facebook post:

At a bday [sic] party Jia was crying after another little girl said to her, 'there is no way you and Zuri are twins you don't have the same colour skin!'

Jia said, 'you don't know anything, we are twins because we have the same birthday and the same soul.

Williams added to BuzzFeed News,

They were crying, but they were defending each other, it was so sweet.

The story of the girl's friendship, touched many a soul on Twitter.
