After discovering that Hugh Grant’s middle name is indeed Mungo, some Twitter users are having a great time spitballing jokes.

Of course, they were all in good spirit and in no way mean to The Undoing star, who was a staple of British romantic comedies in the 1990s and early 2000s with his appearance in Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral and the office sex pest Daniel Cleaver in the Bridget Jones trilogy.

Spoilsports might rightly point out that his full name is Hugh John Mungo, but social media users do not let a little fact to have a little lighthearted fun. Omissions are sometimes right...

The trend was kicked off by Molly Conger who tweeted, “Melting down at the discovery that Hugh Grant’s middle name is Mungo. Humungo Grant. Someone held a tiny newborn infant in their arms and said this my baby, Humungo Grant.”

The tweet racked up thousands of likes, retweets and attempts at their own Mungo jokes.

Some people highlighted other names, but that is for another day....
