The Met have been accused of 'kettling' a Christmas tree outside Lewisham police station

Lewisham Police station in London decided, as most workplaces do around this time of year, to get a little festive and put up a Christmas tree.

Quite Christmassy.

However, as Twitter user @StopGrinning noticed on 4 December, the protective barriers around the tree were a little suggestive.

The Twitter committee for British sense of humour were immediately alerted, and the jokes came flooding in.

What an adorbauble Christmas treet (I'm so sorry).
