Sometimes proud mums just can't help themselves: they kiss their kid as soon as possible, whatever the occasion.
"I'm doing fine," straight A student Fraser told BBC Breakfast presenter Catriona Renton on his Scottish higher exam results.
However, his mum was having none of his modesty, rushing over to kiss him on the cheek and gushing with pride.
She stole the show as pupils in Scotland found out how they had done in their National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers.
The red-faced teenager was less than amused. As his peers giggle in the background, he begs her:
Turning back to the camera after the moment at Greenfaulds High School, Renton says:
There you go Fraser, that will embarrass you for the rest of your life.
The kisses weren't over yet.

The BBC even made it into a GIF. So we can watch it over, and over, and over again.
