The 'leave' EU campaign appears to be rounding up the support of pantomime villains

After two days of protracted talks, David Cameron returned from Brussels with a deal he hopes can convince the British people to remain in the European Union.

While the prime minister was in the Belgian capital negotiating with other EU leaders, it emerged that one of his closest allies, justice secretary Michael Gove, would be campaigning for Britain to leave in the upcoming referendum, announced for 23 June.

Also on Friday, the Grassroots Out (GO) movement, spearheaded by the divisive Ukip leader Nigel Farage...

Unveiled a special guest in George Galloway...

Which prompted dozens to walk out in protest.

Then on Saturday morning, newspaper magnate Rupert Murdoch, while not explicitly showing support for the "leave" campaign, expressed his admiration for Gove's decision...

There are, of course, many nuanced reasons why you may choose to stay or leave the EU, but the above group is hardly the most inspiring bunch. Mind you, the "remain" campaign will be led by this guy...
