This guy tried to sass the world's funniest politician - and got absolutely destroyed

Toronto has a hilarious public official who deserves our attention.

Norm Kelly is the city councillor for Ward 40 Scarborough Agincourt, and has previously served as a member of the Canadian parliament's lower house.

His main career appears to be Twitter sass.

This is a real, elected official.

He is also the millionth reason people should move to Canada.

In 2015 Kelly received an award for best Twitter contribution.

Kelly used these significant skills to respond to a jibe he'd received from an American presenter, comedian, and Vice columnist, Brandon Wardell.

On Wednesday, Wardell posted:

Kelly responded with aplomb.

Amazing. Like a gent, Wardell conceded defeat.

Sorry Mr Trudeau, the world has a new favourite Canadian.
