Man arrested at airport screams police 'treating me like a black person'

White people need to recognise their privilege. But not like this guy.

Jeffrey Epstein, a doctor in Lakeland, Florida, openly (and loudly) admits that black people are treated horrifically by the police.

You're right, Epstein: there are huge racial disparities in how the US police use force, as do the Met Police; minorities are pulled over at a higher rate than whites; and black Americans are several times more likely to be killed by police than whites.

But Epstein, who reportedly said he is a "conservative Republican" and a "Trump guy", is shown in viral footage complaining to police saying:

You’re being rough with me. You’re treating me like a f***ing black person.

Cops reportedly got a call about a disruptive passenger at the American Airlines ticket counter at Orlando International Airport.

When they arrived, he allegedly started getting angry, growing even more furious when he learned the airline was kicking him off his flight due to his behaviour. He tells cops:

So this guy’s trying to provoke me.

He’s a law enforcement officer, and he’s trying to provoke me.

Do you know how to deescalate things, genius. No you’re not. You’re talking about me foaming at the mouth.

Is that going to deescalate things, genius?

He was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting officer with violence and trespassing after warning.

Epstein told police that he "created a very big disturbance and I did it on purpose", according to news station WESH. He continued:

I was no danger. I was being loud because I wanted everyone to see.

Big companies have to take care of their customers, and when they call the cops in, they got to deescalate, not escalate.

He added that he doesn't "blame black people for being upset when they get arrested".
