A wife has divided opinion after revealing the strict rules she and her husband have in place in their Christian marriage.

TikToker Bailey, who goes by the username @bmcpher on the social media site, revealed her rules regarding herself, her husband and the opposite sex in a video that has since gone viral.

In the clip, Bailey wrote: “Rules my Husband and I have for our marriage that make people ANGRY.”

First, the text overlay revealed: “No friend of the opposite sex”.

This rule was followed by one put in place specifically for the workplace, which read: “No work gfs/bfs or being alone with the opposite sex.”

The following rule banned them from texting the opposite sex “without the other knowing”.

In another video, Bailey also revealed that they are both banned from “lusting after others” and following “scandalous” things online.

She also revealed they have a porn ban and put each other above everyone else, including their own parents.

The first video has been viewed over 2 million times and has divided people in the comments, with some thinking the rules are too strict while others agree with them.

One person wrote: “Tell me you don’t trust your partner without telling me you don’t trust your partner.”

Another said: “Sorry this is absolutely insane.”

Someone else commented: “This just sounds like insecurities tbh.”

However, others were in Bailey’s corner arguing that the rules are simply a sign of respect for one another.

One person wrote: “I agree with all of these.”

Another said: “And that ladies and gentlemen is respecting your partner.”
