These hilarious yearbook quotes have gone viral for obvious reasons

Imagine you have one chance to make a lasting impression with only a single line.

What would you choose? A poetic line, perhaps? A brief but revealing statement? An iconicReal Housewives tagline?

It's a tough choice, but this week a series of US students amped up their creativity and flexed their pop culture muscles for a series of hilarious yearbook quotes which have since gone viral.

From references to Friends and Stranger Things to an imaginary Bible passage and the shrewd observation that "anything is possible when you sound Caucasian on the phone", these youngsters left no stone unturned in their search for a truly iconic quote.

Another student - who survived cancer whilst also completing his studies - surprised his mother, who thought he would commemorate his victory with an inspirational quote.

Instead, he opted for a tongue-in-cheek quote which quickly went viral, proving that students nowadays at least know how to take a simple task and turn it into a hilarious meme.
