Ivanka Trump's own sister-in-law will refuse to vote for Trump in the presidential election

Karlie Kloss, the American supermodel who is the sister-in-law of Ivanka Trump having married Jared Kushner's brother, has said that she will not be voting for the Donald Trump in the forthcoming US election.

Just weeks after she was reminded of her connection to the Trumps onProject Runway, 27 year-old Kloss was asked about that embarrassing moment which became one of the first viral memes of the year.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she was asked by the host, Andy Cohen how she felt about that particular incident.

Well, listen, I was honoured to be one of the first memes of the decade, but honestly the real tragedy of this whole thing is that no one is talking about how terrible that dress was. That’s why he went home. And no, I would not wear that dress to any dinner.

Cohen then pressed her on how she felt about the current political situation in the United States and despite her family ties, she isn't a fan of the Republican's or the Trump administration.

She told Cohen:

I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics. I voted as a Democrat in 2016, and I plan to do the same in 2020.

We're sure that the Trumps would have already been aware that they didn't have the backing of Kloss as her husband Joshua, despite being the brother of Jared Kushner, is also a Democrat.

In a 2018 interview with Vogue, Kloss said:

Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for.

We’ve really grown together personally and professionally. Josh knows that I’m just a nerdy, curious human being. I think that’s why he loves me. We have each other’s back.

In all honesty, we shouldn't be surprised by this revelation either as Kloss is close friends with Taylor Swift, who is also a big supporter of the Democrats.
