Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Scorsese together at last

Well, kind of.

Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Martin Scorsese have collaborated on a film for the first-time ever, but said film is an advert for a casino in a Chinese tax haven that reportedly cost $70million (£46million) to make.

The premise of the below video is that it's a trailer for another short film named The Audition, in which Scorsese pits his two favourite leading men, De Niro and DiCaprio, against each other for one role.

It's set against the backdrop of the Studio City casino in Macau, which just happens to be having a mega grand opening this year.

We're not sure how Pitt figures into the whole thing yet, as he only appears in the film via a massive billboard.

The talents involved were reportedly paid up to $10million (£6.6million) each, according to SlashFilm.

Brett Ratner, director of X-Men: The Last Stand, produced the film, and described it as an "historic event".

Hm...
