Alan Carr dressed as Gemma Collins for Halloween

It turns out Alan Carr has been won over by Gemma Collins just as much as the rest of the nation.

Carr commemorated the TOWIE star's unfortunate fall at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards by arriving at Jonathan Ross' annual Halloween Party dressed as her.

Carr even donned Collins' infamous orange dress and its insanely large shoulder padding.

That dress, of course, became an ever-lasting part of the public consciousness after Collins wore it this summer.

Collins was touched by Carr's costume.

She wrote on Instagram:

This is pure jokes ha ha ha

made my night x

dressing up as me what an honour

While the rest of us are left to rip a cheap white t-shirt and call ourselves a zombie, Carr is another celebrity to abandon the scary and celebrate their idols this year.
