Dancing Man, who shot to worldwide fame after viral campaign, finally gets his party

After being "body-shamed" on the internet earlier this year, the man at the centre of the "Find Dancing Man" viral campaign has been thrown a huge party in Hollywood with hundreds in attendance.

A picture of Sean O'Brien had been posted on 4Chan under the heading: “Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week. He stopped when he saw us laughing.”

However, in a rare moment of the internet restoring faith in humanity, the hashtag #DancingMan soon spread as people leapt to his defence and decided they wanted to do something nice for the Londoner in response.

Eventually the campaign led to a party being organised - which was supported by the likes of Moby, Pharrell and Monica Lewinsky - in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old was flown over to the US and spent time on the Today show in New York before heading on to Los Angeles for the main event.

The positivity of it all. So many good people out there. This all started because somebody tried to be nasty and it turned good so quickly.

Hope Leigh, who helped to organise the dance, added: "I've been really overwhelmed by the amount of good I've seen from the world in this."
