A couple who have been married for more than 50 years have gone viral thanks to their adorable matching outfits.
Not only do Ed, 76, and Fran, 74, co-ordinate their outfits each day, but they also take the time to send their teenage grandson a photo of what they’re wearing along with a sweet message.
Anthony Gargiula, 17, – who shared the photos on Twitter - says his grandparents send him a photo of themselves every morning along with a message that reads: “Good morning! We hope you have a good day!”
Since posting the photos of grandparents’ outfits on Twitter they have been shared more than 39,000 times.
He told CNN:
I never expected a tweet of my grandparents to go viral. It’s amazing.
Gargiula added that the pair started wearing matching outfits while square dancing around seven years ago – and they decided to keep it going.
The teenager said his favourite look of theirs is their ‘bumblebee outfit’, where Fran wears a black top and yellow bottoms, while Ed wears the opposite.
After finding out about going viral, they casually signed off their daily outfit text saying: "From your famous grandparents."
