Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has done what she is best at and been fabulous, by taking down Kellyanne Conway for her 'sexist' comments aimed at Nancy Pelosi.

When discussing Pelosi's dispute over border spending with four Democratic lawmakers, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Conway said that the house speaker had a "major meow moment" and "huge catfight".

Speaking on Fox News, Conway said:

Those four female Democrats that Nancy Pelosi is brushing back, I think they are all freshman members.

A major ‘meow moment’ — brushing back in a huge catfight, really ridiculing them — and they voted against the Democratic aid package.

In response to the tired sexist trope, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez quickly took to Twitter to shut it down. In a series of tweets, she said:

“Catfight” is the sexist term Republicans use when two adult women happen to disagree with each other.

The reason they find it so novel &exciting is bc the GOP haven’t elected enough women themselves to see that it can, in fact, be a normal occurrence in a functioning democracy.

She also followed them up with a series of tweets countering the claim that Kellyanne Conway, a woman can't be sexist:

Congresswoman and fellow 'squad member' Ayanna Pressley also backed up Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's arguments.

AOC then jumped straight back in to defend Presley, while continuing to lay into Conway.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, we stan. We stan.
