David Harbour is one our favourite actors on television.

Not only is he really great as Chief Jim Hopper in Stranger Things he is also a man who keeps promises.

In October 2017 he was contacted by California student Damaris (aka @postydamaris) asking how many retweets she needed in order to get him to appear in her senior photos.

His reply was simple: 25,000 but he would only do it on one specific condition.

If he could wear the school sweatshirt and hold a trombone.

Sounds fair enough.

Damaris quickly built up the required amount of retweets and at the time of writing has over 28,000 shares.

Staying true to his word David took part in the photoshoot, wore the sweatshirt, and held the trombone.

Better yet he shared the results on Instagram, complete with a hilarious caption.

The pictures are glorious.

He even shared a few behind the scenes images, showing the guidelines they had to abide by to have the portraits accepted.

The images have rightly gone viral and people are loving them.

Damaris explained that Harbour and his manager made her feel very welcome and that the actor is actually pretty good on the trombone.

Her high school and the photographer shared the images too.
