At this point in Trump’s presidency, his public tantrums really shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise.
Nevertheless, his latest kickoff about not being able to buy a country on a whim has really seen him excelling himself.
Ever since being told that, actually, Greenland is not for sale, he hasn’t been able to stop himself tweeting or talking about just how put out he is.
Unable to handle being told “no”, on Wednesday he complained about being treated “poorly” by the Danish government in a conversation with reporters.
According to Yamiche Alcindor of PBS News, Trump said:
I thought it was a very not nice way of saying I can’t buy Greenland.
They could have just told me no. You don’t talk to the United States like that at least under me.
Of course, he has been torn apart on social media for the ridiculous claim.
