A clip of Eminem arguing the rhyming power of the word “orange” has resurfaced – proving that anything is possible with the right attitude.
Well, it’s less rhyming in the traditional sense, and more like slightly mispronouncing words to fit the rhyme. But who can blame a guy for trying.
Eminem explains:
You could say, like, I put my orange, four-inch door hinge in storage and ate porridge with George. You just have to figure out the science to breaking down words.
The video then shows some of his raps and how he’s fitted “orange” into them. Including these:
I’m dumb enough to
Walk in a store and steal
So I’m dumb enough to
Ask for a date with Lauryn Hill
Some people only see that I’m white
Ignorin’ skill
‘Cause I stand out like
A green hat with an orangebill
- Role Model
Then I got up and ran
To the janitor’s storage booth
Kicked the door hinge loose
And ripped out the four-inch screws
Grabbed some sharp objects
Brooms and foreign tools
This is for every time
You took my orange juice
- Brain Damage
Here's the video, which has had more than two million views:
