Dominic Raab could lose his seat to the Lib Dems and even Corbynites are delighted

The old adage that voting Lib Dem is essentially the same as not voting at all has been challenged in the best possible way.

Tory minister and Brexiteer Dominic Raab is standing for re-election in his constituency of Esher and Walton.

But a recent poll has shown that despite his huge majority at the last election, he's actually in danger of losing his seat. To a Lib Dem.

Monica Harding has been consistently gaining support while Raab's drops, leaving him with just a five-point majority.

Those old enough to remember the #IAgreeWithNick moment of 2010 may be reading this with a sense of déjà vu, but despite the previous treachery of the Lib Dems, this unexpected turn of events has been met with delighted glee.

Even the Labour voters (and die-hard Corbynites) were into it.
