Sacha Baron Cohen accuses Mark Zuckerberg of spreading 'Nazi propaganda' in brutal Golden Globes joke

Sacha Baron Cohen, perhaps the finest satiriser of Nazis since Mel Brooks, aimed another blow at Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook while presenting an award at the Golden Globes.

Reading from a piece of paper, the Borat actor said:

The hero of this next movie is a naïve, misguided child who spreads Nazi propaganda and only has imaginary friends. His name is Mark Zuckerberg.

He proceeded to claim he was accidentally reading from an old introduction for The Social Network and was actually talking about Jojo Rabbit.

This is not the first time the comedian behind Ali G has taken aim at Zuckerberg, as recently as November he said in a speech:

All this hate and violence is being facilitated by a handful of internet companies that amount to the greatest propaganda machine in history.

It appears the comic doesn’t need to put on a Borat voice to call out Nazis and those who enable them and we can only applaud him for that.
