The results are rolling in and things don't look particularly good for the Conservative party.

The exit poll at the beginning of the night predicated that Theresa May might lose as many as 17 seats - a far cry from the majority she was hoping for.

Of course, it's not great news for everyone else involved either.

Ukip also seem to be slipping in the polls and have yet (at time of writing) to pick up a seat.
