Here are 70 times Fox News has been sexist towards women

While Fox News may have been on the receiving end of some sexism of its own in recent months, America's "most trusted news channel" is more often than not the one doling it out.

To coincide with the 95th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which gave some women the right to vote in the US, Media Matters - the blog which aims to "right conservative misinformation in the media" - has compiled 70 times Fox News, or one of its guests, was sexist towards women.

From condoning punching a woman in the face to telling a woman to "know your role and shut your mouth", the video below is a whole six minutes of jaw-dropping idiocy from a station which draws more viewers in the US than any other:
