The conservative activist and renowned right-wing troll, Jacob Wohl, has been suspended from Twitter after he threatened to create fake accounts that would manipulate the 2020 election.

The ban was enforced after Wohl boasted about his plans for the election in an interview with USA Today where he stated that he would create "deceptive Facebook and Twitter accounts and use those to steer the left-wing votes in the primaries to what we feel are weaker candidates compared with Trump.”

However, Twitter has pre-empted Wohl's plans and permanently removed him from the platform for allegedly creating and running several fake accounts already. In a statement given to The Daily Beast, a Twitter spokesperson said:

The account was suspended for multiple violations of the Twitter Rules, specifically creating and operating fake accounts.

Wohl's suspension was quickly noticed by many Twitter users and people immediately began to make jokes at his expense, sometimes using his style of tweets against him.

This came on the same day that high-profile Trump ally Matt Gaetz appeared to threaten Michael Cohen on Twitter.

The fake accounts run by Wohl soon started to be uncovered and shamed by his critics.

People think this could be significant for Donald Trump.

Embarrassingly Wohl was soon boasting about the ban on his Instagram stories.
