Philadelphia hosted a half marathon ‘Love Run’ on Sunday.
One participant’s legs gave way and she stumbled in sight of the finish line. However, all was not lost. In an act of superb kindness two fellow marathon runners ran up beside her and helped her continue to cross line.
A third participant, having seen her struggle, ran back a little way and actually carried the woman the rest of the way.
Two of the men have been identified as Joseph McGinty and Bryan Crnkovi (in green), and they told Fox29 that they weren’t trying to beat any records. Adding that the running community look after each other.
Aww. When humanity is good, it’s great.
