People think this Melania Trump tweet is a cry for help

Melania Trump, First Lady of the United States, used to be quite a prolific tweeter.

However, since her husband got in the Oval Office her account has become quite quiet, she's seemingly transfered most of her activity to @FLOTUS.

That all changed last night when she appeared to like a tweet that was throwing a parasol of shade at her husband.

The tweet, from writer Andy Ostroy, shows a GIF of Melania losing her smile at the Trump inauguration (or as we like to call it, the night of 1000 memes) and reads:

Seems the only #Wall @realDonaldTrump's built is the one between him and @FLOTUS #Melania #trump

Other than one of her own tweets which reads "hello twitter," it's the only tweet she's ever liked.

She, or quite possibly a staffer, has since unliked the tweet - but many users captured screenshots that are being widely shared.

Was she trolling her husband? Is it a cry for help? A finger slip? Was she hacked? Was it a disgruntled staffer tired of receiving Trump brand vodka instead of a Christmas bonus with an axe to grind?

We'll probably never know, but for now enjoy Twitter's reaction.

It's not the first time people have questioned Melania's happiness and devotion to her husband.

Soon after the inauguration a psychologist pointed out that Melania was "just an object" to Trump, a "Free Melania" campaign was launched and Jezebel published a theory about how much the First Lady hates her husband.
