The NBA got their first ever same-sex wedding proposal

A marriage proposal made NBA history when same-sex couple Michael and Jake got engaged on the court at a Bulls-Spurs game.

Benny the Bull, the Bulls’ mascot, pulled Michael onto the court during timeout, and the pair danced, unsuspecting, as the cheerleaders did their thing.

Meanwhile, Michael’s partner Jake snuck out of the audience and made his way over to the court.

The mascot then turned Michael away from the court and quickly brushed his hair, just as his fiancé-to-be Jake got in position.

Then the music stopped and Michael turned around as Jake walked up to him holding a candy ring, went down on one knee and asked him to marry him as the crowd cheered.

And, of course, Michael said yes.

That's set a high bar for the wedding.
