Going on a night out should be fun. But then it starts to get really late.

We've all found ourselves dancing to Rihanna in a nightclub at 3 am.

You stopped drinking about two hours ago and have begun sipping water. You're well aware that you have to wake up early tomorrow. Or at least not after midday.

Then you're struggling to get an Uber because everyone else has left the club at the same time as you - and you definitely don't want to get the night bus.

Surely there must be something better than this sorry excuse for a bit of fun?

Well, one Twitter user has come up with a great solution to the late bedtime.

Alli made the simple suggestion that we all just go out a few hours earlier and you'll be asking why you didn't have this grand idea.

Alli's ingenious idea has gone viral and most people agree with her.

In all seriousness there are many reasons negative reasons as to why you shouldn't be going on massive benders until the earlier hours of the morning.

A survey conducted by Drink Aware in 2015 amongst 1,672 students aged between 18 and 24 found that 56 percent were physically sick after a night on the tiles.

However, there could be hope on the horizon.

A report published earlier this year by the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration found that fewer teens in American were heavily drinking on a night out.

The number of binge drinking teens and young adults in America had declined to 14.44 per cent between 2012 and 2014 compared to the level of 15.87 percent in 2010 in 2012.

It's only a small improvement but maybe these kids have the right idea.
