Republican roasted for ‘getting upset’ about a gingerbread person

A Republican has been comprehensively roasted after appearing to get rather upset indeed about a gingerbread person.

Posting on Twitter, Richard Grenell, who was one of Trump aide’s, posted a picture of the cookie labelled “gingerbread person” he spotted in a bakery and he seemed to have found it so egregious he thought it was worth adding “stop voting for Democrats.”

Grenell serves as the acting director of national intelligence in Trump’s Cabinet in 2020. Before that, he served as the United States Ambassador to Germany from 2018 to 2020 and as the Special Presidential Envoy for Serbia and Kosovo Peace Negotiations from 2019 to 2021.

But after he seemed to have lost his own intelligence, national or otherwise, responding to him, people thought getting upset about a biscuit was pretty ridiculous:

But at least one person bizarrely seemed to agree with him:

Grenell is also not the only Republican to find issues in the smallest of things. A bunch recently became furious to learn fictional character Big Bird was in favour of vaccines for instance.

Let’s give Grenell the benefit of the doubt though. Maybe he just prefers chocolate cookies?
