Prince Harry thanked his horses after announcing his son's birth, and the internet is losing it

Yesterday, Prince Harry spoke to the press to announce that his wife Meghan Markle had given birth to a healthy baby boy, and he was so excited he even thanked some horses.

At Windsor Castle, the Duke of Sussex gave a short statement to reporters confirming the birth outside of the castle's stables.

In the 90 second speech, he lavished praise onto his wife, said he was'thrilled' and 'over the moon', and then thanked the reporters:

Thank you very much, guys.

Then, as he turned to make his exit, he also decided to thank the horses behind him. Yes, maybe the hysteria got to him, too.

Speaking to the horses, he said:

Thanks, guys!

It goes without saying that the internet found the whole surreal exchange completely hilarious.
