A teacher has gone viral after she shared a video of her marking her students' work - with stickers.


Ainee Fatima, a 27-year-old English and Media studies teacher in Illinois decided to turn the internet's favourite memes into marking aids, and people online are loving it.

In a Twitter post about it she wrote:

I love grading with my new stickers!

She simply printed the memes, which include the question mark meme and one with Gordon Ramsay, onto sticker paper, and then she cut them out.

The stickers were well-received by her students, she wrote in a set off follow-up tweets:

These were really well received by my kids. Students who normally wouldn't care actually asked if they could correct their tests for a better grade and had a good laugh esp bc they always show me memes. 

I just wanna clarify, I teach high school seniors. I would not do this with younger students. This is the culture in my class we've built and bc of that, they loved it. my fellow teachers love it too. 

It's ingenious really.
