In a speech at the White House on Friday, stood next to Australian prime minister Scott Morrison, Trump said
I've rebuilt the military...we spent £1.5 trillion dollars, when I came in our military was depleted, frankly we didn't have ammunition OK?
It doesn't need saying that of course, the US military had ammunition before 2016 although we're not sure what Trump thinks the US used in all the global conflicts prior to his ascension. Vicious tweets?
