This husband's parody of his wife's Instagram is amazing

The wellness trend shows no signs of slowing down. These days, the internet is spiralized avocados, gluten-free diets, dairy-free deserts and yolk-free eggs.

But one man has at least made us laugh in these hungry, sugar-deprived times.

Edward Lane created a parody account after spending years as an “Instagram husband” to fitness blogger girlfriend, Amy Hopkinson.

Lane told Mashable:

All of a sudden I was having to stand on the sofa behind her to get a good angle of some porridge unsanitarily close to her feet, or awkwardly skulk behind her to avoid being caught on her morning story. I thought the whole thing was insane

Literally hundreds of people were double-tapping a picture of my girlfriend eating salad – it made absolutely no sense to me. But most of all it cracked me up.

But now, Lane's own Insta career is really taking off, and it's not hard to see why.
