YouTuber tweets alarm at seeing blood in the shower, women reply hilariously

Women deal with a lot of unnecessary stigma in our society.

One of the most ridiculous and stupid parts of this surrounds periods. Despite most women having one every month, the subject is still under discussed in almost all areas of contemporary culture.

Therefore sometimes it’s necessary to ‘womansplain’ how things really are.

YouTuber Tyler Oakley learned this lesson, providing his followers with the perfect opportunity to put the record straight. When he tweeted out an innocent update about a bloody nose he got in the shower and how alarming the blood was, the responses came thick and fast.

Of course not all women get periods, some trans men and non-binary people get periods too, but women wasted no opportunity letting Oakley know that blood is nothing to be scared of. For many of them, it’s part of everyday life.
