This double amputee has been given a quite incredible pair of limbs

This man has become the first bilateral shoulder-level amputee to wear and simultaneously control two modular prosthetic limbs.

Leslie Baugh, who lost both his arms in an electrical accident 40 years ago, controls the new limbs simply by thinking about them.

Maybe I'll be able to put some change in a pop machine and get the pop out of it. Simple things like that most no one thinks of. And it's re-available to me.

Before he was able to fully utilise the new prosthetics, the Colorado man had to go through a surgery called "targeted muscle reinnervation" which helps to re-connect old nerves that used to control his arms and hands.

You can read more about the surgery here at Johns Hopkins University website.
