This new Gmail feature lets you block annoying people in two clicks

Gmail has made it a lot easier to block annoying senders.

From today on web and next week on Android, a new 'block sender' feature allows you to send people straight to your spam folder with just two clicks.

To see emails from these people again, just go to your spam and undo the action.

A message on Google's Gmail blog said: "Sometimes you get mail from someone who’s really disruptive. Hopefully it doesn’t happen often—but when it does, you should be able to say, 'Never see messages from this person again.' That’s why you can now block specific email addresses in Gmail."

A separate 'unsubscribe' feature already available on web will also be coming to Android next week.
