The ten most pirated TV shows of 2015

There are no prizes for guessing that HBO's Game of Thrones was the most illegally sought-after show of 2015.

The serialised adaptation of George RR Martin's fantasy books has topped the league table for four years in a row now - as Wired points out, when the fifth season finished earlier this year, it set the record for the most illegally-downloaded show ever.

TorrentFreak has released download data for their site which shows that Game of Thrones was the runaway favourite for people unwilling to wait or pay with 14.4m downloads, followed by The Walking Dead (6.9m downloads) and The Big Bang Theory (4.4m downloads).
