Pro golfer goes viral after giving epic eye roll to rival’s ‘bulls**t’

Unless you’re an avid fan, we doubt that you’ll be too tuned in to the world of professional golf but we think this story might give you a chuckle.

A video has emerged online, seemingly from an unknown source, of American professional golfer Brooks Koepka, who during an interview struggles to hide his disdain for his fellow golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

The interview, which took place on The Golf Channel, reportedly happened last week during a post-round chat on Kiawah Island at the PGA Championship.

Koepka starts the interview off as normal but soon becomes distracted by DeChambeau’s presence behind him and something that his rival said. After giving the biggest eye-roll imaginable, the whole interview goes off the rails, with the 31-year-old adding: “I f***ing lost my train of my thought hearing that bull****.  F***ing christ.”

The clip, which has taken a week to appear online, has already been viewed more than four million times with many speculating as to what happened to annoy Koepka so much, with some believing that DeChambeau said “just gotta start it on the right line” after Koepka said that he was having difficulty with his putting.

DeChambeau has responded to the footage. Appearing to laugh it off, he posted a comment under the video: “You know you can fix spike marks now”.

The rivalry between the pair is well documented. Koepka has previously complained about DeChambeau’s slow and methodic style of play. In contrast, DeChambeau has taken to mocking Keopka’s body after he underwent a dramatic change in physique and posed nude for The Body Issue.

“I don’t know if his genetics even make him look good, to be honest. I mean, the Body Issue, he didn’t have any abs, I can tell you that. I’ve got some abs,” DeChambeau said during Twitch stream in January 2020.

Kopeka responded to this with a picture of his four major trophies adding: “You were right @b_dechambeau I am 2 short of a 6 pack!”

Who knew there was so much drama in professional golf? More drama than the UFC.
