A young South African wicketkeeper-batsman scored a brilliant maiden Test century on Saturday to put his side in a commanding position against England at Centurion.
Drafted in for the fourth Test of a series which South Africa have already lost, the youngster will be hoping his performance can persuade selectors to keep him in the side in the long-term.
But beyond his cricketing talents, the thing that most seemed to catch the eye of English cricket pundits was young Quinton De Kock's surname.
