Anti-vaxxer compares vaccinated people to ‘Nazis’ in heated rant

A clip of an anti-vaxxer going on an impassioned rant and calling those who have got the vaccineNazis” has gone viral.

The incident took place in California at the San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting on 17th August.

At the event, speakers were able to give their thoughts on the city’s response to Covid-19, as it experiences its worst daily case count since January due to the spread of the Delta variant.

But, in footage posted on Twitter by San Diego Union-Tribune reporter Phillip Molnar, an anti-vaxxer went on a bizarre rant about the pandemic, vaccine passports and people who have had their jabs.

Screaming into the microphone, the man shouted: “Do you think that the four feet of marble that holds you above, high in this chamber, will help you from the fate of humanity which you are unleashing? No, it won’t!”

Some people in the crowd supported his rant and cheered along with him.

He continued: “Your children and your children’s children will be subjugated. They will be asked, ‘How many vaccines have you had? Have you been a good little Nazi?’”

The clip has been viewed almost 450,000 times and many in the replies expressed concern for the number of people in agreement with the man.

Someone on Twitter wrote: “So obviously he has some "issues," but the number of people cheering in support is disturbing.”

Another described it as “mass delusional psychosis”.

The man’s completely unfounded and untrue rant was not the only display of misinformation at the meeting.

NBC San Diego reported that someone else falsely claimed: “There are reports from fertility clinics all across the country that sperm counts and motility is way down after the shot.”
