A cat's shaved tail might very well be the grossest thing you'll see today

Cat lovers look away now, for you are I'm afraid at risk of becoming a dog person.

Not possible, you say? OK challenge accepted.

Just take a look at this video share on Twitter by @Donsutherland97 of his cat's recently shaved tail.

Yes, that is a video of a cat with a shaved tail. Shouldn't be weird or gross, should it? But alas.

Not meaning to bald-tail-shame the poor cat of course, beauty is after all in the eye of the beholder.

Unfortunately, most beholders in this instance don't seem that taken with this particular feline's unconventional look.

If the video is a Rorschach test, lots of people seem to have equally, errr, curious perceptions.

And obviously, there were kindred spirits out there.
