Why are we here? What's the point in it all? Why are we all rushing around on a rock in the middle of a never-ending Universe with our little hopes and dreams?
Yes, we're not sure either.
And, it would seem, neither is this dog, who, when he finally caught his own tail, appeared to be at a total and utter loss as to what on earth to do with himself next.
In a now-viral tweet, a Twitter user shared a video of his dog doing just that, along with the phrase:
My friend’s dog, Max, finally caught its tail, and then didn’t know what to do with itself anymore.

What's happened there, you may ask? An existential crisis, that's what.
Needless to say, people on Twitter found the whole thing rather hilarious.

It seems like it's quite a normal thing for dogs to do.

Maybe its life has just peaked?
Or it just got very, very confused.

Most thought it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen. Deceased.

All in all, it's quite a relief that it's normal. It's a 'dog thing'.
Well done, Mr Pooch. You're nailing life.
