In 2012 Katie Hopkins tried to make a point about wearing a poppy on Armistice Day as a mark of respect for those that have lost lives in war.

She declared that her daughter is named Poppy so that she 'won't forget' and then asked 'will you?'

It's hardly the most well constructed and logical tweet we've ever read and we are reticent to give her any more coverage but something bizarre has happened with that tweet.

Somehow, someway, against all odds, it has become a meme, where people are mocking Hopkins for her bizarre statement and some of the jokes are hilarious.

Here are some of the best.

Although this was fun let's hope this is the last time that we'll ever have to mention her name again.
